MDEpiNet Acceptance

The Abdominal Core Health Quality Collaborative is a Medical Device Epidemiology Network (MDEpiNet) Public-Private Partnership Scientific Oversight Committee approved program. MDEpiNet is an initiative led by the United States Food and Drug Administration designed to address the needs of the medical device clinical ecosystem by strategic development of national/international and innovative methodological approaches for conducting robust studies and surveillance in order to improve medical device safety and effectiveness throughout the device life cycle. Global participation includes clinical registries, academic centers, integrated health care systems, major public and private payers, professional societies, trade organizations, individual companies, and Federal Partners (NIH, AHRQ, CMS).
